UNIT 7 - Circular Motion
CM.1: I can distinguish CMM quantities that are vectors and can treat them as such.
CM.2: I can include appropriate units on all of my CMM answers.
CM.3: I can accurately identify objects interacting with and forces acting on an object in circular motion by drawing an interaction diagram and a properly labeled free body diagram.
CM.4: I can tell when the forces must be balanced or unbalanced for an object in circular motion based on what I know about its motion using N1L.
CM.5: I know the difference between mass and weight and can calculate weight for objects in circular motion.
CM.6: I can use N2L to quantitatively determine the net force acting on or acceleration of an object in circular motion.
CM.7: I can identify the force(s) contributing to the centripetal force acting on an object in circular motion.
CM.8: I can calculate the magnitude and direction of the acceleration and/or velocity for an object experiencing UCM.
